Sembawang Park

Sembawang Park is the only leisure park which encompasses a beach with a view of shipyard nearby. Those interested can also explore the vacant colonial bungalow houses nearby. Best of all, the parking lot is free!

My wife and I visited the park two days ago, after a short tour of the Tzu Chi Da Ai Gallery 慈济大爱人文馆 nearby.

(A) Exploring the neighbourhood of old colonial bungalow houses - can do a loop walking tour cum exercise while exploring the area.

The bungalow houses there are indeed spacious and elegant. Looks like they have been vacated for quite a while. I am sure before long, they will be refurbised into some sort of food and beverage outlet.

(B) Sembawang Park - of course, the exercise trails are there. BBQ pits and kids playground can also be found there. Some benches were scattered in various spots to rest our legs if needed.

Those who are adventurous can go for a dip in the beach

Not sure what this "snake"-like floating divider is used for?

Was pleasantly surprise with the serenity of the ships and cranes with their surrounding, captured by the photo!
