Labour Day Holiday - time for our morning exercise routine.
This time round, we decided to visit Dairy Farm Nature Park. Wanted to park at Carpark B, but the parking lot was full when we reached there around 7.15am. There were about 3 cars quequing in front of the barrier leading to the car park.
Decided to try our luck at Chestnut Natural Park nearby - alas even the roadside parking outside the natural park was fully taken up. Eventually, had to park our car at HDB parking lot nearby, and walked about 100m to ZhengHua Natural Park.
ZhengHua Nature Park - Chestnut Nature Park - Dairy Farm Nature Park all all interconnected via park connector. Both hikers and bikers share the same trails.
The main attraction for the park is the walk through nature trails, lined by various trees/shrubs and covered by green canopy, with fresh air abound. Except for the challenging trail ascending from Wallace Education Centre to Bukit Timah Summit, the rest of the trails are quite easy going.
One can spend several hours exploring the park; those who are adventurous can even walk all the way from Dairy Farm to MacRitchie Reservoir.
We spent about 2 hours, walking from ZhengHua -> Chestnut -> Dairy Farm (walking up towards the summit of Bukit Timah Hill).
