ORNAMENT FISH MARKET IN BANGKOK
Was on a free and easy trip to Bangkok in March 2019. Boarded a cramped and poorly airconditioned minivan after visiting the famed rail market, back to Bangkok.
Wanted to visit a weekend market, but instead chanced upon the rather interesting ornament fish market.
Lots of plastic bags "loaded' with various ornament fishes on on display on the floor, or hanged from the wooden planks across the building complex. This creates a colourful display of quaint and distinctive market I have ever seen.
The colourful shrimps swimming in the tray look like classic Chinese painting at a glance!
Wheelchair Accesible Passage to overhead bridge
Have seen this "zig-zag" walkway leading to a overhead bridge umphteen times when I go for walking exercises. The lights brighten up the exercise path lining the Kallang River.
When this photo was taken, absent were the midlle-age men that sometimes dock themself by the riverside, waiting patiently for their catch of fishes.
SERENITY and CALM
Pleasantly surprise by the serene atmosphere created by the tree branches overlooking the Mac Ritchie Reservoir in one of my morning exercises.
PENANG 2ND BRIDGE
The 2nd Penang Bridge looks like a life-line linking Penang Island to Malaysia Peninsula when view from the plane.
BANGKOK
Bangkok - a truly buzzling city with interconnected walk-ways that allow pedestrians to move from one shopping malls to another with ease, avoiding the notorious congested road traffics below.
