七十年代，“我是一片云”这首歌曲，红遍华语乐坛。

虽说云朵能毫无忌惮，无拘无束的在天空飘荡，但其形状与色彩却往往受缚于外来因素，自己毫无选择权。

云朵本身，犹如一个没有自我思维，意念完全受他人主宰的人。

也许有人会争辩说，他人的强项能衬托出我们的美感与气质；毕竟每个人都需要伯乐来拉我们一把。

但是，完全没有自主能力的人生，值得鼓吹吗？

思维有自主权或躯体上的行动自由，那个更重要?

我认为还是做回自己，不可把自己当成“我是一边云”，比较合适。

桥

桥梁，横跨河溪，把两岸的人民联系起来。

桥梁，不管大小，老旧及其性质，都具有同样的功能。

若没有桥梁，两岸的人民可能需要绕个大圈才能抵达彼岸。不然，就要依靠船只，越过河流。当然也可以游水过河，但湿透透的抵达对岸，多不方便。

桥梁下，也可空间利用，添设些运动走道，方便人民运动。

高架桥，横跨底下的火车轨道或大路，帮忙苏通交通拥挤的现象，那又是另外一种现代设施，多数在繁忙的城市或乡镇才能看到。

观景高吊桥，高挂在树林上， 或横跨山谷，又是另一种情景。

钓鱼

钓鱼，需要有一定的耐心与技巧，还有些许运气。

在烈日下，站在河边，直视前方的鱼竿，鱼线，希望水面下的鱼儿能上钩。我想，有时也得等上好几个小时吧！一旦能捕捉到鱼儿，不管其大小，肯定会乐翻天！

不过，有些人可能会非议钓鱼这种活动，说它牵涉到杀生，残忍。也许这是弱肉强食的一种写照吧。

绿色通道

 

翠绿草丛，虽然杂乱，但细看之下，乱中有序，也挺安神养眼。

若在穿插些羊肠小径，或铺满落叶的步道，以及伴随两旁的“杨柳”小树，更具有修心养性的功效。

能在繁忙的钢筋水泥高楼林立的城市，腾出空间设立些绿色通道，方便人民在空闲时刻做些户外运动，舒缓神经，是明智之举。

若在点缀些河道，就更加不得了啦！

亲情，闲情

 

人生最写意的莫过于无忧无虑的与家人共享天伦。 如果同时能做些保健运动，何乐而不为呢？

父子（女）的互动，难能可贵。沿着河边，奔驰在通畅无阻的运动走道上，绿油油的树木从旁往后退；暖风迎面吹来，身后的爸爸在稳住铁马的握柄向前进的同时，偶而喃喃发言，或哼着曲子。多温馨。

Kallang Riverside Park

Had always been fascinated with the view of the Kallang Riverside Park (see below) when driving along Nicole Highway.

Had been contemplating on ways to reach the park - should I drive there, or could I walk all the way from my place, along Geylang Park Connector, cutting through stadium to reach the park?

Decided on the latter option - taking a walk in the evening, walking along Geylang River, crossing over the Tanjung Rhu Suspension Bridge, skirting around Indoor Stadium / Kallang Wave Mall, walking along Merdeka Bridge (along Nicole Highway), and finally reaching the distal end of the park which is situated right opposite Tanjung Rhu promenade.

Labrador Nature Reserve/Nature Park - II

Went for morning exercises at Labrador Nature Park today. Reached there earlier than before, at around 7.30am. Took some more photos of the area.

The old fort that was supposed to be the battle front against Japanese invasion in World War II. But alas, the Japanese attacked from the north (from across the causeway), instead of the south!
