早上那场大雨，来得很突然。
起初是点点滴滴的细雨，掉在车的挡风镜上，接下来突然来了给大转弯，如破霸的洪水，急促的铺盖这挡风镜，把前面的视线掩盖了 - 一切都变得模糊！即使把扫水器的速度调高到最高点，也无济于事。只能小心翼翼的减速开车。
幸好是坐在车内，不会被雨水淋湿。骑电单车或步行者就没那么幸运了。
记得年轻时，就曾经在大雨下豪情的骑着电单车驱行。雨水点点滴滴的打在脸上，衣服也湿透了，还觉得蛮兴奋 （豪情万丈，犹如刚被注射强心针般）。
上了年纪后， 会不期然的对大雨产生了避忌。生怕会淋雨后犯上大病，得不偿失.
As I was driving in my car, it suddenly rained heavily. The downpour was so heavy, that the view in front was obscured.
As my wife once commented, Chinese are afraid of rain -- lest it bring along with it medical ailments. We have seen some Caucasian braving the rain, but hardly any Asians (specifically Chinese) doing so.
I braved the heavy downpour once in my younger days - venturing out on a motorbike. My clothes were soaked. But it was an exhilarating experience nevertheless!
