CJ's BMT Passing Out Parade @12 Feb 2017

All Singaporean male must enlist into National Service, either before admission into University or after completion of Polytechnic studies. Most of the new recruits into National Service will be posted to Pulau Tekung military camp to undergo 2 months of Basic Military Training (BMT). Passing Out Parade (POP) will be held for the recruits who have successfully completed BMT.

It was only one year ago that we attended CK's Basic Military Training (BMT) Passing Out Parade (POP). And now, it is CJ's turn.

We were there quite early last year, reaching the Pasir Laba Camp before 8 am. The viewing areas was quite empty, with abundant seats to choose from. This time round, we reached the camp at 8.30 am. The viewing platform was already swarmed with spectators. Fortunately, after walking around the place, we managed to secure three seats right behind the viewing platform.

The sequence of events was exactly the same as before. Somehow, it seemed to progress at faster pace the last year. The entire ceremony was completed by 10.30 am.
