It has been over one week pass Deepavali celebration. The light decor in Little India is still not dismantled yet (read from the internet that the light decor will continue till mid November).
After seeing a patient in the evening, I drove to Little India for some night photography.
It was already passed 9.40pm when I reached a small alley branching off from Serangoon Rd. Most of the shops had already closed. Only restaurants, barber shops and fruit/vegetable stalls were still open. Managed to park my car in the one-way street branching off from Serangoon Rd. It was free parking from 10pm onwards.
Walked around Little India, snapping some photos along the way.

Chanced upon this multi-storey carpark, with colourful vehicles on-display. I have a hard time deciphering if these are real cars, or just some computer gimmick on display... |
Colourful shop-houses in Little India - the yellow shop-house belongs to a restaurant... still open for business.
The colorful display of garlands...
Fruit stall... there were still quite a number of people buying fruits from the stall.
Religious statues on display, and for sale...
Was pleasantly surprise by the colourful facade of the Indian Heritage Centre (I didn't know that there was such a centre till then).
The light decor along Serangoon Rd...
A small Methodist Church hidden in one obscure corner in Little India.
An Eating House, still open for business...
In another one week or so, it will be Orchard Rd's turn ... with Christmas Lights-up!
