Dawn, beginning of new day

Sent CK off at Terminal 1 Airport at 6am for his trip to Nepal. Then detoured to FengShan Hawker Centre for early breakfast. Since it was still rather early, the hawker centre was not crowded at all.
We bought and ate our bowls of wanton noodles (2) and vegetarian fried bee hoon (1), together with hot drinks (tea and coffee) in no time.
Took the picture below by 6.40am. The limited parking lots were full by then.

I like the atmosphere and feel of the place, at that particular moment. It was neither too dark nor too bright! The surrounding was quiet. No chirping sounds, no vehicle horns and no whispers at all.

Dawn signifies the beginning of a new day!

The new day is akin to an empty piece of paper. How vibrant and colourful it is, or how dull and depressed it will turn out, can be unpredictable at times.
Arguable, our initial frame of mind can possibly influence which direction the day will go.

If one wakes up afresh and fully energise with positive thoughts, one will not be daunted when confronted with difficult challenges through the day.
On the other hand, if we wake up on the wrong side of the bed, even a simple task will feel like a chores.

Fantasy Land

Cheng Yee was flying back to Melbourne. Scoot flight was delayed from 0030 Hour to 0120 Hour.
With ample time abound before boarding, but too short for a drive home, we (CY, CJ, my wife and I) decided to explore Jewels @ Changi.
Most of the restaurants / shops (except for fast food restaurants) were closed.

Admittedly an enchanting fantasy land ...

Apparently the feels were different during daytime, with natural daylights. That would be for another time.
