First young driver in the family

CK finally cleared his driving test in his 2nd attempt on 25 Sept 2015. He failed in his first trial a few weeks ago, probably because he was nervous-wrecked. He had to return to Jurong Camp immediately after his driving test, hence had no opportunity to drive our family car on the same day.
I tried to buy the Probation Plate from the Shell Petrol Kiosk in Guillemard Rd, but was told that it was out of stock! Anyway, I was able to get it from the sundry shop in Boon Keng Rd at the price of ~$15. Hmm... never knew that the simple bright coloured triagular plate could be so expensive.

CK had first hand driving our family car around for dinner, then back to his camp 3 days later, with my supervision. No problem with parking, but probably need some practice on which lanes to turn in at traffic light junction. He tried out most major highways (AYE, MCE, PIE, BKE, CTE) and roads leading out from Dakota Crescent. Overall, he is a confident and safe driver.

After one month of supervised driving, he was finally "allowed" to drive without supervision - he drove his friends to explore Admiraty Park, and brought CJ for supper!
